Microstoven White Tajine 30.5cm BW3229. If you love trying new recipes and experimenting in the kitchen, you really want practical and durable hardwearing dishes that can be used in several situations, so you're ready to tackle any recipe you find. Made from high quality stoneware featuring Spodumene, a mineral that makes stoneware flameproof and enables a multi function use. The coating features two layers of Xylan non-stick coating. Microstoven cookware can be used on gas, and electric stove tops (to medium heat) in the oven (to 200C), in the microwave, dishwasher and freezer. Each item in the range is fully glazed, including the base to prevent scratching to tables and bench tops.

I would highly recommend this tajine as it seals to ensure that food cooks evenly and retains moisture.I browned and sealed seasoned lamb shanks in olive oil, added onions and garlic to soften and transferred to the tajine. Added carrots and a sauce of rosemary, redcurrant jelly, tomato puree, lemon juice, cumin, chilli, coriander, cinnamon, mint and red wine which I thickened with flour paste.Cooked in the oven slowly for 1 1/2 hours served with mustard mash and greens. Delicious!! The tajine was extremely easy to clean which is always welcome.
